How long have you been in business?
April Collins, who has over five years of executive administrative support experience, founded The Assistant for You, LLC in 2005. Under her direction, TAFY grew into a successful business with strong relationships with companies in the Shreveport-Bossier City, LA, area, including Unity Construction and Remodeling, the Bossier City Chamber of Commerce, the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourism Bureau, the Shreveport Convention Center, Rhonda Branch and Associates, and Senior Transition of Louisiana. We are expanding our clientele outside of Louisiana, and currently have relationships with companies such as Space One Landscaping and Leap of Faith Publishing, both located in Atlanta, GA. Our clients are what make TAFY the company that it is today; our corporate partnerships not only helps us to grow, but allows us to help other companies to increase profitability and minimize costs. Each of these companies depends on TAFY to handle executive administrative tasks so that they are able to focus on more important business matters.
What is your primary product or service?
TAFY works “virtually,” meaning we complete our clients’ executive administrative tasks offsite. TAFY members can also perform services onsite if needed. Our clients only pay for a specific number of hours that they need every month for executive administrative services, with no limit in hours. Because our processes are efficient, cost-effective, and unique, our clients enjoy the freedom to concentrate on what is most important - building their businesses. TAFY not only offers business support, but many personal support services as well.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our mission is to save our clients time and money. We are here to take care of the everyday hassles so our clients can focus on what they do best. As a Virtual Assistant, we can perform any executive administrative task that a traditional secretary or executive administrative assistant would and more.
