How long have you been in business?
Cascio Interstate Music was founded in 1946 and was mainly focused on accordions. Obviously we have expanded since then, but we have remained family owned in southeastern Wisconsin.
What is your primary product or service?
We deal primarily with musical instruments, including brass, woodwinds, pro audio, percussion, guitars, keyboards, and more. We maintain a vast selection of sheet music and instrument accessories as well. Our SuperStore offers services such as instrument rentals, lessons, and repairs.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have been fortunate enough to have been voted the Best Instrumental Music Store in the Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee list for the past 11 years. We attribute this to our superb in-person customer service, immense selection, knowledgeable staff, and competitive prices. Additionally, we host an annual event entitled DrummerFest, where we bring in nationally and internationally renowned drummers for a free clinic.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have our SuperStore in New Berlin. We have a widely used ecommerce site (interstatemusic.com) for customers to use for purchasing if they are not in the area.
